Steinbeck wrote about Positano, the beautiful village in southern Italy: "It is a dream place which isn't quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real when you have gone." The original is acrylic with a mix of blues, greens, naples yellow, magenta, black and white. It was painted with brush and palette knife with generous texture.
