About Dan Campbell
I am a full-time working artist, and it is an absolute joy to paint! I’m hooked on vibrant color and bold, sweeping, dynamic brush and palette knife strokes. I try to bring passion, drama, and energy to a painting so that it catches your eye from across the room. I personally enjoy contemporary semi-abstract painting, as it allows for immense freedom and imagination. I think of painting as part painting and part sculpting. I am not sure if I like this one or the "Sailing by the Lighthouse" better but either of these are great for a place near the ocean or for a person that likes to be near the ocean even if landlocked at the moment. Dan did a specific piece custom designed for a friend of mine's office. It really turned that entire space from something neutral to a space with some zest and since it was tied to her business - it was just really neat.
