I'm constantly in awe of the ocean and all its color and majesty. I'm feeling the serenity in this one and wishing you all calm seas as you sail through the sea of life. And I love the inspiring song too from one of my fave Styx tunes, Come Sail Away.

I am a full-time working artist, and it is an absolute joy to paint! I’m hooked on vibrant color and bold, sweeping, dynamic brush and palette knife strokes. I try to bring passion, drama, and energy to a painting so that it catches your eye from across the room. I personally enjoy contemporary semi-abstract painting, as it allows for immense freedom and imagination. I think of painting as part painting and part sculpting. The textures can play as strong a role as the colors in the creative process. I often mix in techniques like dripping, layering, cracking, and scraping in my paintings.
