Sloop John B was a pop tune by the Beach Boys released in 1966 and became one of their most popular songs. It, ironically was originally a West Indies folk song. As Brian Wilson added color to that song, vibrant colors are intended in this original painting.
I am a full-time working artist, and it is an absolute joy to paint! I’m hooked on vibrant color and bold, sweeping, dynamic brush and palette knife strokes.
