Johnny Unitas, was none other than the famous quarterback for the Baltimore Colts from 1956-1972. I'm happy that, as a sports-loving kid, I got to watch him play many a game in his later years. He was the NFL's MVP in 1959, 1964 and 1967. One of the greatest champions on and off the gridiron.
I am a full-time working artist, and it is an absolute joy to paint! I’m hooked on vibrant color and bold, sweeping, dynamic brush and palette knife strokes. I try to bring passion, drama, and energy to a painting so that it catches your eye from across the room. I personally enjoy contemporary semi-abstract painting, as it allows for immense freedom and imagination. I think of painting as part painting and part sculpting. The textures can play as strong a role as the colors in the creative process. I often mix in techniques like dripping, layering, cracking, and scraping in my paintings.
