A modern toast to Ludwig Van Beethoven and his "Ode To Joy". To many a classical fan, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Movement IV, is one of the most spectacular pieces of music ever written. And to think it was written by a man who was deaf. Even this ole rock/pop/blues music geek finds it so uplifting, I cannot resist listening and feeling a sense of hope and optimism and yes...joy. I hope that comes through in this abstract painting as well.
