Nothing reminds me more of the days of my youth, than a beautiful grove of majestic trees. Carefree, adventurous days they were with sprawling limbs calling my name, begging me to climb. Higher, and higher still would I go, where the best fruit is ripened from the rays of the sun.

I am a full-time working artist, and it is an absolute joy to paint! I’m hooked on vibrant color and bold, sweeping, dynamic brush and palette knife strokes. I try to bring passion, drama, and energy to a painting so that it catches your eye from across the room. I personally enjoy contemporary semi-abstract painting, as it allows for immense freedom and imagination. I think of painting as part painting and part sculpting. The textures can play as strong a role as the colors in the creative process. I often mix in techniques like dripping, layering, cracking, and scraping in my paintings.
